Prescription Assistance for Seniors program provides improved access to existing prescription assistance programs to help meet the needs of individuals who cannot afford their medications.

The Prescription Assistance for Seniors program is funded through Senior Services Levy monies; Ashtabula County Board of Commissioners, Fiscal Agent. Administered by the Ashtabula County Department of Jobs and Family Services.

This service is provided free of charge to Ashtabula County residents.

The Prescription Assistance for Seniors service now offers assistance in two basic areas:

1. Pharmaceutical company programs that may provide free or reduced cost medications.

Eligibility Criteria for participation:
60 years of age or older
Ashtabula County resident.
no third party prescription coverage.

2. Medicare Part D prescription programs. Information and sign up help available.

You will meet privately with a caseworker and all information will be remain confidential.
