Right Track
Right Track is an after school program for 2nd -5th graders. It is a character building initiative program that consists of physical activity, homework help, creative opportunities and of course snacks.
Goals - To encourage and promote healthy and responsible life choices. To strengthen children's emotional and mental health. To encourage personal, social, and academic success for our students.
The Right Track Program activities are focused on helping students improve their academic, social, and self control skills. Academically, students receive one-on-one help with their homework and school subjects as needed. Additionally, students receive academic support through integrated activities that also encourage social and emotional growth. Social skills development and awareness are fostered through the cooperative group activities and games. Quality children's literature is read to participants to act as a springboard for discussion on such topics as diversity, respect, tolerance, and friendship. Additionally, the use of children's literature helps to introduce the arts to Right Track participants. The use of music, creative arts, and thematic learning subjects are also used to expand the participants appreciation for education.
At the present time, Right Track
operates from Monday-Thursday from 3:30-5:00. Conneaut
School buses provide transportation to the Conneaut Human
Resource Center for the children. Parents area responsible
