Nursing Programs - Immunization clinics for babies, children and adults are held on every Tuesday and Thursday. Blood pressure screenings are held the first and third Wednesday of each month. Some of the other programs include: Communicable disease reports and investigations; BCMH ; medical referrals for care; well child physicals; health education; and various clinics.

Environmental programs - Licensing for Food Service Operations, Food Establishments, Campgrounds, Marinas, Public Swimming Pools, Manufactured Home Parks, and Tattoo and Body Piercing Operations. Permits are obtained for household sewage treatment systems, private water systems, residential plumbing and sewer tap-ins. A variety of public health environmental inspections are performed by the sanitarian and can include nusiance complaints, smoke-free workplace complaints, and misc. inspections.

Vital Statistics- We have the birth certificates on file for any person that was born in Conneaut City. We also have any death certificates for any person that died in Conneaut City. The current price of a certified copy of these vital records is $20.00.

The Conneaut City Health Department is also very involved in protecting the public health of our community. This includes disaster planning and being prepared for many types of disasters, such as Pandemic Influenza. The health department participates in city, county, regional , and Ohio Department of Health drills and exercises.

Board of Health Meetings are held on the second (2nd) Wednesday of every month at 8:30 a.m. in the Health Department offices.
